At the end of the day, even beginners want good photographs, which the C180 unfortunately won’t produce. The easy upload just doesn't compensate for poor handling and even worse results.

Easy to carry, easy to use, relatively good photo quality

Needed to buy larger case to hold camera and usb cable ; Can not find shorter usb cable with C180 proprietary connector so camera would fit in snug case with cable

Wont get much better for your money, nice software interface, my non-techie wife had it set up and was editing photos in about three minutes

Zoom not what I would like it to be

This camera is small, compact and inexpensive. We found it very easy to use, and the picture quality was great. Takes AA batteries, which means that they were easy to replace.

No view finder, which means that it can be hard to visualise your picture in the sun or when there is a lot of glare. 3 x optical zoom often isn't enough. Unfortunately the camera packed it in (just out of warranty), without warning.
