Logitech's QuickCam Orbit MP appears more like a science-fiction accessory than a webcam. Featuring a 9-inch stand, the Orbit MP can look you in the eye when it's sitting on your desktop, and it often does, thanks to the built-in face-tracking software.

Great webcam Works great with great features. Very easy to setup and go. You can even take digital still pictures and send them to friends. Very User friendly

Quite pricey, but worth it. It has a tall stand to put anywhere on your desk over the small things like your speakers etc

Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP 1.3 MP Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

 

I've had many Logitech products and have never been unhappy with my purchases.

Great camera, follows you with face recognition. Very clear picture and sound. Mostly used to talk on Skype. Had the camera for over a year and is still working great

Sweet camera!

 

I leave the panning feature off because if you get up and leave the computer, the camera tends to pan to the brightest light in the room, and you have to manually put it back. Not a big deal.

Sweet camera. I took the advice of others and down loaded the newest drivers from the internet ; The camera works perfect. The panning is quiet, although many say it's noisy. I love it. I can now communicate with my 2 sons who are in Iraq

Surprisingly not good..

 

Good picture quality

Where to begin. Just being plugged in caused static when playing sounds on the speakers. Take the webcam out of the scenario, and the problem goes away. Microphone wouldn't work at all. Nothing but device/driver conflicts when this has been installed...

I bought two; both have performed well.

Easy to use. Good picture quality. Good sound. Automatic software updates. Nice webcam overall

Best for the Money!

 

I am convinced that some people submit reviews who don't even own the product, just to trash the product to get some sort of counter marketing thrill out of it. The above reviewer who refers to clicking sounds like a toy is probably one such reviewer....

Smooth quiet operation. Very good picture. Easy to set up and use. Very fun and versatile. Video overlays in utility software are fun to use

The execution of the included utility software seems to cause other software that might use the built in microphone (i.e. Skype, Battlefield 2) to be unable to use it. An easy work around is to execute the utility software only after another...
