Yes, it is 5MP, but the fine quality comes at a cost of the frames blending into each other. Basically, it's blurry as heck. Make sure you stand still for the camera to see stuff better. It's good at taking photos, though.

I spent hours trying to get this to work with Windows 7. Bought it as a part of a package deal. Downloaded and installed software several times. Ended up returning it.

This product doesn't even come close to it's specs. Rated at 30 FPS at 640x480. Don't move if you sit in front of it. Poor quality slow FPS everthing blurry. Extremely disapointed with this unit. It was the size and price I wanted to pay. Guess what......
