we have been using this unit daily for 10 yrs now without a problem or service. As others above have said, it functions very well. Sure there may be issues with dirty shirt collars etc that that has as much to do with your own settings- presoak, hot...

We have had this machine for nearly two years, trouble-free. Previous front-loader was a Bosch, which did a great job of washing clean, but was too expensive to repair when it finally died. This machine maybe doesn't do as great a job, but to be fair I...

Robust construction, straightforward operation, choice of cycle lengths, handling of delicates, reliability, extremely economical.

Perhaps doesn't wash too thoroughly on brief/economy cycle, especially heavily soiled garments, but fine on longer cycles.

Overall a bit disappointed as this machine wasn't cheap! The AEG we had previously was a great machine and didn't require scrubbing of shirt collars etc. and was cheaper than the Miele.

Agree with what has been said about the engineering, have only had the machine about 18 months so difficult to comment on longevity

Doesn't clean clothes as thoroughly as previous machine, an AEG. Not sure if the ecomising on water is to blame, we always follow the instructions recommended for various types of clothes and related cycles and use recommended washing powders at...
