Lots of different cycles so pretty much anything can be washed.

None so far. Previous LG direct drive washing machine lasted 10 years without fault, so we are expecting the same from this one.

in the cotton short circle it weighs the laundry and adjusts the length of the washing time! Compared to the old washing machine it is very quiet and I love the little melody it plays at the beginning and end instead of the thriller pipe noise others...

the spin cycle is a bit on the loud side and the machine quite 'rattles' but I think it'll change with the new flooring (now its on bad laminate)

Very useful cycles clearly labelled including quick cotton (just over an hour) and quick 30 minute. Temperature and spin speed can be varied independently. Cleaner, better rinsed and dryer than my previous machine despite shorter cycles and lower spin...

Still a bit noisy when on full spin but I have a wooden floor and being a close fit under a work top it's difficult to adjust.

Quietcycle time a bit long

I'm really happy with my purchase this machine is really a good bargain and it is very quite but the washing finish of it is just marvellous. Yes I would highly recommend it.

Does everything it should + very quiet wash and spin.

On initial start up the water valve opens and closes several times in quick succession causing loud hydraulic banging through the water feed pipe.
