Bought to replace which was the same as I had. My old one was stainless steel and this one is black which doesn't show finger marks the same. They have now put the crumb tray on the same side as the flex which is a pain but otherwise I am very happy...

Slots not long enough

I bought this toaster and as soon as I opened it I could tell that the slots were not long enough. You can only put your bread in vertically, which means about 1cm of the bread is not toasted!! Returned to store!

makes lovely toast if the slices arent too long good even cooking

its just a tad light in the body cos when you press lever down to cook the toast the toaster moves but not a problem just be gentle :)

The slots are too small so sent it back. You can only fit square slices in it rather than typical loaf shape slices and I don't want to have to turn a slice of bread around and put it in twice to get it all toasted.

Cheap and easy to operate

does not brown evenly on both sides; defrost cooks as well as defrosting; slice width is tight for a standard sliced loaf; can't operate one side only.
