Mine is branded, Proctor Silex. Has 1350 watts versus my old Hamilton Beach's 1500. Where it makes up for the efficiency is through tighter clearances and no noticeable vents. It's definitely deep enough even for a serving dish. Yes, it does toast...

I wish I hadn't.

 

If these problems where only a once upon a life time, I could deal with them, but I deal with it multiple times a day. That's too much cursing for my taste.

It looks nice, it does have a large capacity, and it will cook food

Controls are horribly inconvenient and probably, lack accuracy
