It's still an amazing device, but the limitations are starting to get old.

128GB version is a good value ; Fast performance ; Huge library of apps

Base model only has 32GB of storage ; No multiuser support ; No USB-C

Apple has updated the base iPad with a new A12 Bionic processor, which makes it fast. Everything else about the iPad is still really good, but limitations like multiuser and poor videoconferencing hold it back.

Affordable price point ; Apple Pencil support (1st Gen) ; Smart Connector means support for keyboard and accessories ; Ideal performance for media consumption and apps

Bezels are a bit chunky ; No FaceID ; Not an anti-reflective screen ; No True Tone screen technology

It lacks some of the speed and design points of the higher-end models, but that's why this is the perfect iPad option for many – as there's still no better entry-level tablet around.
