Does the job, even if we hate doing it!

 

This replaced our old Philips iron which started leaking water and black grit everywhere in the middle of ironing. This is an adequate replacement so far - had it about a year. You need the steam on for it to work well. I don't know how you could get...

Reliable, inexpensive

Steam section needs refilling every 4 shirts. I guess unless you are going to fork out for a LauraStar then that's just what you have to do.

I did a lot of research both buying this iron and i have to say i am so disappointed. There really is not enough heat and clothes look like thay haven't been ironed. It has been 4 months and i have given up and purchase another. Not worth the...

Excellent

 

I paid a really good price from Target was $120, but paid $70 on special. Initially i wanted to replace my old Braun iron with another Braun, but couldn't find them anywhere in Victoria, but am very happy that i saved my money and bought this one...

Has a nice weight, not too heavy but not too light. Steams really well and the steam level is adjustable. Has a 360 degree swivel cord which is excellent. Smooth non stick plate glides really well. Has a nice long point on the end too get into tricky...

The first few times i used it, it was very smelly, like overheating teflon, but it's mostly gone now. Need to be careful to have it on the correct setting otherwise the plate will start to get a bit sticky but i think that's just common sense. Need to...

Terrible

 

I didn't mind paying a bit more but in saying that, I expected a lot better quality. Very disapointing purchase and I do not recommend this iron.

Initially did a good job.

Extremely disapointed with the surface plate. Has something sticking to it within 2 months, now 14 months on I am still having issues with Phillips trying to get it fixed/replaced.

Good

 

It's an iron - what can I say? Steams well. Has good temp so you're not having to apply pressure (unlike my other iron). turns off when not used - light flashes to let you know. would be nice to have the beep like my other iron.

Heats up quickly. Autooff function when left on too long.

Doesn't beep to let you know it's been left on.
