Sub-par iron from a great brand

 

Overall, Rowenta is a great brand that produces irons. However, most Rowenta irons are made, or assembled in Germany. This particular model is not which is why the ratings are low. Out of the box the iron worked great. The iron felt flimsy compared to...

Best for quick ironing!

 

Light, nice colors.

Went to France for a vacation knowing they don't have irons in hotels. So I bought this iron right before leaving but not knowing what to expect. But it was perfect! It was great for touch-ups and easy to maneuver.

don't expect it to take ALL the wrinkles out! It's just a travel iron! Need to refill if you do a lot of garments.

I have had 3 of these to keep near my sewing machine for pressing seams for quilting/piecing (I dropped them was reason for replacing - not iron malfunction). This is the only style iron I have ever had that didn't leak - have spent $$$ for irons in...
