Good cheap system for the office BUT...

 

Beware of the memory issue if you want to upgrade it...

Works well with 7 x64 and 10 x64. Using a second HDD for dual boot into XP (Yes I know, but we have some old programs!)

The memory is VERY specific and you can't just put in any old generic DDR3 in it. So it is stuck at 4gb until I can find the EXACT memory that is in it now. That sucks!

Windows update wont run so dangerous to use, update log shows fatal error. Must be something leftover from former corporate use.

Great system at price point!

 

Great system for the price. The system I received was different in color than pictured but that is actually a good thing since all black looks nice in my wife's desk. I purchased this as a replacement to a small build I had that just lost its speed...

Despite the failed HD, this low end and inexpensive PC has more in its plus column than in its negative so I would still recommend this for someone who needs a desktop to work from. Isn't going to run any high end (or middle) software but for updating...

inexpensive option for a low-end system. Great for online work, word documents and reports. Received in mail: powered on, configured, and online doing work in under 5min. Easy set up. Great Computer case - easy to pull apart and add/upgrade components.

came with a Hitachi refurbished 1TB HD that stopped that failed after 3 months. Hitachi is garbage these days. This wasn't advertised in the PC Specs when I purchased.

It's the luck of the draw with any refurb PC. I've bought dozens from Newegg and this is the first time I've had any issues with one.

Bought 2 of these for work. Had bought other refurbs but not this particular model (6000 Pro). The first PC gave me trouble not wanting to update Windows via Microsoft's website. The HDD was a Maxtor and is very slow and noisy. Tried updating the...

Did not like the fact that HP's own updated drivers caused the PC to give the BSOD until they were removed.

Nice price

 

I've bought a few of these and so far they are hanging in there. Time will tell...

good price runs good cheap starter or general use system

comes with IE8, so it needs updated or just use chrome also has a generic sound driver. It is a realtek HD, so easily found driver.
