In spite of the limitations of the platform, God of War: Chains of Olympus is not only stellar title for the PSP, but a stunning game outright.

Kratos and his son's venture into Norse mythology is a brave new step for the God of War titles, producing one of the best games of the year, and perhaps in franchise history.

Stunning environments and detailed characters; Superb voice acting by leads; Sharp gameplay; Brilliant storytelling

Main campaign a bit short

This new God of War is not the same as previous titles, and that's a good thing. Kratos and the franchise needed to evolve. Much like the very first game back in 2005 changed things for this genre of gaming, the latest offering rips up the old formula...

God of War: Ascension Review gives an in-depth detail about the game. This latest video game comes with new gamplay mode.

• Spectacular visuals ; • Good storyline ; • Amazing level of detail in graphics ; • Solid set of enemies

• New combats mechanics feel quite irritating ; • Camera sometimes look awkward ; • Kratos’ abilities and armor have been stripped off

All in all, Our God of War: Ascension Review is also a mix response to the title, somewhat good, somewhere not up to the mark. The game comes with same old button mashing system along with quick combo fights. A single player franchise with multiplayer...
