The one drive would not work with my old P5N-D ASUS 750i chipset.Even after loading the Micro(doesn't givea)soft ATA drivers.

The second one I installed in my old machine has been nothing but problems.It won't load OS with any stability(Windows 7)Even after loading the Microsoft ATA drivers it still won't work right.I completely disconnected it and the original HDD that is 7...

HDD upgrade from a Seagate Baracuda,It smokes the old drive by a bunch.Defrags in less than 2 minutes.And that is after NUMEROUS installs and restarts.Excellent(so far)

SSDs are still a bit costly per gigabyte but I clearly can't fault this one

Plugged it in and started using it in a HP Envy desktop. Increased the speed tremendously over the regular drive. Only way it could be better is if it were a bigger drive.

Drive came as a bare drive, meaning no screws or bracket. But I purchased a bracket for about $8 and it installed just fine, so this is really not a con unless you are expecting the mounting to be included.
