I read all the reviews on this item before I decided to purchase it all of them seemed to say it was a good fire alarm for the price

It's slim and comes with the required nine volt battery and screws required for fitting on ceiling or wall. I've just rested mine on top of the doorbell box in the hall.

Fortunately I haven't needed to rate this alarm in a real fire but I believe it to be a good value basic alarm for the garage or shed and its small enough to fit in restricted places like cupboards.

These competitively priced smoke alarms are so easy to fit, (two screws), and could save you and your family's lives. They come supplied with batteries so can't think of a reason why you wouldn't buy them for every floor of your home
