Incredibly bright even when controls are set to brightness of 0/100. This monitor has much worse ghosting and halos around bright areas than I expected (I was expecting none); they went a little overboard with the anti-glare/anti-reflective coatings....

worked fine out of the box

after 5 weeks it died. DIED!!! newegg only covers 30 days. this is the fourth piece of hardware (at a spendy price) which newegg has sold me that was faulty. newegg does not do a thorough job at vetting thier hardware.

Yea yea yea... Its heavy, bulky,takes alot of desk space. This colossal CRT weighs around 70lbs. Didnt come with HDB15-to-5 BNC conector. Had to buy a monster cable of this kind online.

Great picture, Great resolution. From what i've read, the 5 BNC connection (although old) is the only approved connection so far for going beyond HD (1080i}. Get yourself a HDB15-to-5 BNC monster cable and you got the clearest picture you've ever seen....

Vista Drivers... 64-bit not sure about 32. Errors on install. Using generic driver is fine on HDB15. 5 BNC generic driver cuts your resolution to 1600 x 1200. currently working with ViewSonic support to try and fix the problem.
