Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed this monitor. It has been great. While at first I was really irked to have a problem develop with the monitor, I want to emphasize how awesome Sumsung support was. I had an RMA resolution in about 5 minutes. Sumsungs...

Great Picture ; Low Latency ; No Problem Playing games - Oblivion ; Excellent Customer Support ; Both DVI and VGA connectors ; No horrible built-in speakers

Even with adjustment, monitor is just a little bright, but not horrible ; Monitor did develop a problem ; Not a lot of tilt control

Outstanding Quality

 

Movies and games (Quake 4, Call of Duty 1 and 2, Medal of Honor, Unreal Tournament 2k4, Nascar Racing) all look stunning. No ghosting or artifacts.

No dead or stuck pixels. Extremely vivid colors and outstanding clarity at 1280x1024 resolution. Easy on the eyes for text or graphic work. Easy installation of analog and digital drivers for XP. Auto-adjust sizes things up perfectly at first boot....

Supplied with only an analog cable. No DVI cable supplied with the monitor. Sup with that Samsung

Amazing LCD!!

 

Lighting fast delivery. I ordered on wednesday, standard ground shipping, recieved on thurs afternoon!! Great way to start the weekend! Thanks Newegg!!!

What can I say other than this monitor is excellent!! No dead pixels, no ghosting. This is my first LCD from my 4yr old 19" CRT. I was a little hesitant, but I was blown away with the quality of this monitor

No cons. The brightness is set at 100% so you will want to adjust that, and probably want to tweak it up a bit too

Very Bright, and it's like the blues get emphazied *compared* to my older monitor, but it's actually just brighter.

Great Monitor, but only tilts

 

Clear picture, Great color so far (have not calibrated for print/video production yet), no dead pixels. Colors do shift a little bit when viewing from different angles - but I believe that all LCD monitors do this a bit in the $xxx price range

I like this one

 

Comes on at 100% brightness, and that's kinda too bright, but just set it down to about 20% ; comes with the analog cord, no DVI cord, so get a DVI cord if you want one.

very pleasant. I've had 5 different Samsung LCD models now (some medium high range, some cheap), and this one is the best display image wise, and that's saying something. 2nd monitor for me, and on the analog port of my video card, and perfectly sharp

As others have noted: no height adjustment (but not that bad with a correct height desk); No 90 degree swivel :-(, but then this is a second monitor, and I don't actually use swivel

I LOVE THIS MONITOR

 

This is a great Monitor. I just bought a second one of these

My first one is a couple of months old and now that I can compare a brand new one to an older one, I can notice the brightness is not as high as the new one, but still I really REALLY love this monitor

Bad Experience

 

This was such a disappointing experience. I never even got to install and judge the monitor on its working ability because I couldn't even get it to stand up and view it. This may very well be a fine company and monitor and I just got the rare...

It comes shipped in a very nice brown box. That's about all I can say of this monitor

The monitor I was shipped had a defective base that did not fit on the neck part of the stand connected to the monitor. The hole in the base was smaller than the neck support!!! I spoke with Samsung tech support and they were pretty much clueless on...

Another 5 Star for Samsung

 

the picture is superb. I moved from a 19" Flat Screen CRT to a 17" due to fuzzines occuring in the 19". The 17" was .26DPI ; Both monitors have better picture quality than the 17" had ; No Dead pixesl either

Non-adjustable base. Magictune doesnt' work on XP x64
