Displays with acrobatic skills such as telescoping necks and the ability to pivot between portrait and landscape mode are usually much bigger and significantly more expensive than the $385 Planar PX1710M. But while its performance in displaying games...

Highly adjustable for a 17-inch LCD; good DVD and gaming performance; pivoting software is included.

Mediocre image and sound quality; no cable-feed system.

A 17-inch display as adjustable as the Planar PX1710M is a rarity. But similarly flexible displays with better overall quality are available for the same price.
