For true colours CRTs are still top. My number one choice for a 17inch.

 

100% flat, minimal reflections. High resolution, fast refresh, sharp everywhere, good geometry, great colorimitry.

Fingerprints show badly. Not as thin as a L.C.D. display.

LG Flatron was overall winner of the BT Global Challenge 2000/01 yacht race, taking 10 months to circle the globe going "the wrong way round”. The LG795FT monitor is a winner as well.

100% flat, minimal reflections. High resolution, fast refresh, sharp everywhere, good geometry, great colorimitry.

Fingerprints show badly. Not as thin as a L.C.D. display.

Fair price for a good product... but had some problems

 

When we opened up our Internet startup in Brazil we decided to opt for a good quality monitor, since we expected to work more than 12 hours a day in front of the monitors and I was very concerned to our health, even though it was pricey then.
