I've used this scanner with the SCSI interface with NT4 for a while. Had some frequent mechanical glitches with the scanner jamming and took it back for repair but in the end I worked out how to take it apart and fix it myself.

The scanner doesn't work with Windows 2000. If you go to Umax's website, they have an updater that supposedly resolved problems of installing the Astra 2200 on a W2K machine using USB - http://www.umax.com/support/knowledge/solutionsSC.cfm?docs=SC00167...
