I didn't actually have a password on my windows account. I was actually hoping its programing would auto fill log ins for email and that sort of thing.

You can use any finger/thumb you want because you can program them all into it. You could probably use your toes if you wanted to. This fingerprint reader seems to work fine with Windows XP 32 and 64 bit. If you are having problems with it working on...

It is so little and light that the bends in the usb cord actually turn it on its side and face it away from the angle you would normally swipe your finger

Locked Up After Install

 

I installed this device on my computer and the system froze during reboot right before login. The same thing happened on another PC using a different reader so it wasn't just a bad reader. I tried a few different install methods; attached the reader...

Construction looks good ; Comes with two, different length USB cables

Failed to operate on two computers ; We tried two device and both failed identically ; Little to no support from IBM
