This would have been really handy but it appears to be a low quality item.

First scanner I've ever purchased, but not used. I love it. It's small, seemingly well made (time will tell on that one) and it runs off USB power. I've only used a few times, and I've never really used OCR software before so I learning my way through...

I read the other customer reviews and went against my better judgement and purchased this scanner anyway for my office. Although it doesn't take up much space at all, the programs the scanner comes with are NOT at all user friendly!!! It was horrible...

This is a good scanner for receipts and flat paper. Documents that have been fold tend to hang up and blur the scan. The resolution can be adjusted but the default is very low.
