The stand is not the sturdiest, but is fine. Still a 5 star product. The amplified version may be better, but being on the top floor i dont need it. It wont fall over unless you move it, but 99.9% of the time it just sits there.

Probably does work for those closer to a tower.

Unfortunately, I was only able to get one station with this receiver. Every other station couldn't be found. I moved the antenna into every possible direction for about an hour before giving up. But, I DO live in a very rural area, so my closest...

It does a good job of pulling in terrestrial HDTV broadcast signals. It requires no external power.

The design is somewhat bulky, and a larger base footprint would add stability.
