Epson EH-LS500B

Went with this projector because I wanted 4k, laser light, UST and more than 3000 lumens and this ticked all the boxes at a reasonable price. It is expensive but all those things together make it worth it. Not quite as good as a TV on direct sunlight...

Pros - Superb picture - much brighter than i expected. Feels like TV and not a projector Cons - Didn't realize how big the projector really is, planning to build a separate cabinet for it. As mentioned in previous comment, fan gets loud in bright mode....

I purchased this to replace an Epson TW6600 which was a hard act to follow but I wanted the placement convenience an ultra short throw could offer. Initially I was a little underwhelmed but after tinkering with the settings and adjusting the placement...

Projector produces a big picture. Still working out the best settings. Fans too loud at times.

Very happy with this short throw projector would recommend it. Would now like to find a suitable AV cabinet to house it.

Excellent picture quality, great contrast and very sharp. Pretty easy to set up as well. Only negative was the price but you get what you pay for
