A good number of buttons to customise. SetPoint software is flexible. Wireless receiver is tiny and can connect to multiple devices. Free spin and detented scroll wheel.

Software looks old and is poorly laid out. Lower thumb buttons aren't that easy to find. Status LEDs don't show the mouse's current settings. Floaty feel during gaming.

The G700 might be tagged with the gaming label, but we'd be more comfortable using it as a business or productivity mouse. For getting your frag on, there are better options out there.
