I also got stung by buying an LG dishwasher in April, 2007 at Home Depot. The first one was damaged and the second one was finally installed in July, 2007. I did 2 loads and the dishes came out wit black gunk all over them. Turned out the installers ...

several brands are as quiet, so that's no reason to buy

mildew, dirty dishes after washing, lousy customer service, terrible product.
