Bought this appliance at the end of April 2010. Replaced a 10 year old Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. Read a bunch of customer reviews on various models, and they were all over the map. For every review that loved it, another hated it. Other LG dishwashers...

Do not buy this product, it leaves a heavy film on the the dishes.  I returned this product and bought a Kenmore Elite and I am very happy with it.  Both products are very quiet but the Kenmore actually cleans the dishes.

I replaced a Maytag (never again) after 10 years. I did my research 2 weeks. Went to see in person, wow so many to choose from. After looking at GE,Kenmore, and LG I decided for all the features LG was the best. Installed myself EASY.
