This is a superb lens which complements the 'E' range of lenses. Although the angle of view is fairly narrow, the lens benefits by being optically very good. Used on a Nex 7 the amount of detail resolved is tremendous.

The lens cap is awful and like most other in this range of lenses is somewhat difficult to attach and detach. As this lens has a very protruding front element you have to take extra care when taking off or replacing the cap.
