The Pentax SMC DA Star 50-135mm F2.8 ED (IF) SDM is a pro-level zoom lens with weather sealing and a wide aperture, but it is a bit soft at its longest focal length and on the pricey side.

Fixed f/2.8 aperture. Useful focal range. Full weather sealing. Internal zoom and focus design. Light for its class.

A little soft at 135mm. So-so edge performance at f/2.8. Pricey. No tripod collar.
