In low light the lens is awesome.

Taking a while to learn with manual focus but that is probably just my inexperience as a photographer.

Excellent clarity of images. Switching to this lens when taking photos when sight seeing made my camera seem like a feather to carry about. Architecture and buildings really crisp.

Small Excellent image quality f1.7

None really. Not as quick or silent to focus as the 14mm f2.5 (my other commonly used lens) but it's certainly no deal breaker
