The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a standout telephoto lens, but one that won't balance well on smaller cameras.

Superb optics. Long telephoto reach. Weather-resistant design. Teleconverter compatibility. Includes removable tripod foot and hood.

Image quality is very good for the price, even with the 1.4 teleconverter. A bit of a lump compared with Micro 4/3rds super telephotos but the image quality of the lens and XT2 sensor more than justifies this.

AF slows noticeably when using 1.4 TC

Typical high quality Fuji build. Everything works smoothly. Auto focus is fast and accurate ( used on an XT2). Image quality compares with the best high quality telephoto zooms.

Though not a cheap plastic build it is indeed mainly plastic. Unique for Fuji high end lenses. I guess that does give a weight advantage though and it can be argued that modern advanced plastics are at least as good as metal alloys. I'm just a bit old...
