Don't get this one.

Allows you to connect a SATA or IDE drive to your PC via USB

It is not reliable. I will connect a drive to my computer and it will not read it with this device. If I use another device the hard drive can be read. It feels cheaply made and the power pin for the device does not like to stay in

It has worked great so far. I ve downloaded picture off a camera memory stick with no issues. The floppy drive has worked fine also. I took advise from other users to not connect until after OS was loaded

4 powered ports up front of your PC. Works out of box with Windows Vista and Windows 7 with no setup or messing about

A bit wobbly in my case - reason is that the case secures the 5.25> ; 3.5 adapter only on the left side, so sticking in a USB device in the adapter makes it bend it the further right the port is. Doesn't REALLY matter, but if you have a case similar...

Not really a con about this multi-card reader but there can be drive assignment issues when installing the OS. See below

Excellent reader, recovered data from a formatted XD card when no other reader could. Reliable

WAY too expensive at $55 hence the low rating. SHould be half the price.
