When I would plug it in to charge or put new songs on it it would get very hot. I've had it for almost 2 months and I was putting some new songs on it when it malfunctioned. The only problem was that when you put new songs on it the computer won't see...

holds alot of music,easy and basic navigation, rca support online is ok cheapest around a good deal if it works

system corrupt file usually means you have to open the back (will void warrenty, though its only thirty days) and reconnect a black cord, file cant be found means you have to reinstall firmware and maybe reformat

Media player doesn't convert song info automatically unless it's an original retail CD

the battery canlast a long time in playingi tested mine and left it it lasted like 8 hours, it charges very quickly and it is very easy to navigate thru files

the screen is very small (i can only see half of the file name on my screen and it would hurt if it had fm radio and it tales a while for it to respond ( not enough th bother me because is lessthan a sencon)

Despite the fairly poor reviews i had to buy one of these, $20 was too good to pass up. And so far i have not been disappointed, works more consistently than some of the more expensive players i've purchased in the past, and had a better menu layout...

Occasionally after loading new music it will skip the profiling step when you turn it on, and ask you to manually start a profiling later on

This refurbished unit was on sale for $34.99 at the time and was an offer I couldn't refuse. I had no problem uploading and operating the unit, but within a month's time, it would not start-up... it would not load beyond its "file system corrupted"...
