While it does the job just fine, iRiver's flash based portable media player the E100 does have a few niggling issues that set it back a notch from some of the competition.

Slick design. microSD slot. Strong file support. FM radio and recording. Voice recording and line-in recording.

Photos and video don't look so great on the not-so-sharp screen. Uninspired user interface. Difficult navigation. Many settings and options are difficult to find.
