Hassle to Use

 

I'm on my third replacement. The first kept leaking at the base. The motor on the second replacement burned out after three weeks. I'm now concerned about the noise my third replacement is making. During operation the seal/base may come loose...

Blends smoothies well

More of a hassle to clean and assemble than other blenders I've had. Leaks at base if seal isn't tight making a mess

At first sight...very disappointed.

 

This review is solely based on opening the box last night and seeing what I received, I'll come back one I have used the item. This is more to show my utter disappointment in Breville's idea of "recertifying" an item and signing off on it. First...

The price ; Newegg's shipping

Scratches, smudges, stains on the stainless (they look like stains even though it's supposed to be stainless), junk under the seal that you can see through the bottom of the glass...want more ; Did I buy this at a garage sale

Breville=Great Products

 

I rate it 5 eggs, but I should take one away for missing the non-skid feet but this review is about performance.

This blender really works so smoothly, smoothies are great. It is made with quality materials and looks beautiful ; I highly recommend

The only con I have is that my Blender came without the non-skid feet, although it is a refurbished item I think they should be sent with all of it's components and pieces. This is a real problem because the unit moves when in use and luckily I notice...

Returned multiple times

 

There's a reason they are being refurbished. I returned three of them so there's three right there. A terrible product with severe quality control issues.

Glass jar ; Blends very well ; Nice blending features

Leaks ; Must tighten base to the point where it is difficult to loosen without the use of a tool; it still leaks ; Rubber gasket at base started to disintegrate ; Noisy

Great Blender

 

I knocked the score down because the gasket is so picky.

Not joking about crushing ice. Gives you snow if you let it go long enough. Heavy glass container retains cold well, lets you make a little extra frozen drink

The gasket, get it wrong and the base will get very wet. You have to place the gasket around the glass and make sure it is down flat. If you drop in the black base, it will twist sometimes
