There have been negative reports about the sound, if the problem is the volume you can rectify this by incorporating the use of the volume control on the TV remote, but this has to be done at every use, no big deal.

Small size means it is quite unobtrusive in the room. The ability to freeze live television is useful when the phone rings!

The fast forward and reverse is tricky to control - to stop where you want to be.

On the surface it does what you would expect. Easy interface.

Sometimes does not record the required program. The screen sometimes freezes but the sound continues. About once a fortnight the sound goes jumpy and can only be solved by turning off the unit at the power source.
