Great value

 

I made chicken and dumplings on it. The chicken and veggies were well cooked, and the dumplings turned out just as they should. I used a big dutch oven, and had no problem getting the water and ingredients to a boil

Heat up quickly, and has a thermostat ; No problem boiling water

I would be care not to knock it off the counter--it seems very lightweight (compared to other countertop burners I have owned) and might break easily

Great value

 

I made chicken and dumplings on it. The chicken and veggies were well cooked, and the dumplings turned out just as they should. I used a big dutch oven, and had no problem getting the water and ingredients to a boil

Heat up quickly, and has a thermostat. No problem boiling water.

I would be care not to knock it off the counter--it seems very lightweight (compared to other countertop burners I have owned) and might break easily.

waste of electricity

 

this may be good for frying a egg but it can't even boil water for instant noodles. after 30 mins of the unit set on "high", my pot of water temperature was no different than running hot water. you can see the air bubbles sitting on the bottom about to...

1) the unit doesnt get hot to touch when "on" 2) easy to turn knob and know when unit is on or off 3) powers on fast 4) lightweight, very mobile

1) doesn't boil water 2) super short outlet cord

Works great

 

It cook food and boils water in no time. I put my water kettle on it last weekend and in just a few minutes it was shooting steam and had to turn it to "low" so it would not boil away ; This unit is 1100 watts which is comparable to a electric range...

what good does it do if it won't even boil water? I put a tea pot on it and turn the knob to HI, half an hour later, my water was just hot enough for bubble bath. The burner stays on for 1 minute then decide it is too hot so shuts itself down for 2...
