Like I said...

Like I said, read the directions! There's no accounting for failure to do that. The thing is so darn simple, the only reason that something is not working right is 9.999 times out of 10, OPERATOR ERROR! Obviously if it arrives busted, that's not B&D's...

Newegg and Black and Decker are great. After RMA'ing this maker I immediately bought the same model from a local walmart and it is flawless.

Great coffee pot

Come on, a coffee pot with a 5 egg rating for under $50. Buy it,buy it,buy it. The best coffee pot for the money bar none. I bought a second one just to have on hand.

Automatic brew timer. auto shut off and very easy to use. Also it's easy to clean the inside when needed
