We've tried on the Dyson Zone air-purifying, ANC headphones. Are they the future?

Purifies the air you breathe ; Active noise cancelling ; Will monitor the air around you ; Visor is detachable ; Replaceable filters

Bulky design ; Heavy to wear ; Requires plenty of confidence

We’re still very much in the prototype stage here, with no price or release date in sight, but we can certainly see people wearing this if it solves the problem of pollution in urban areas.

Dyson Zone review

 

The Zone headphones have built-in air purification technology, an impressive feat of engineering in a product very few people should seriously consider.

Well-made headphones ; Excellent audio quality ; Top-notch ANC performance ; Long battery life for audio

Bulky and heavy ; Some design flaws ; Very expensive ; Socially awkward

While the Dyson Zone are remarkable in many ways, not all of them are positive and for the vast majority of people, they will be simply too big, costly, embarrassing and unnecessary.

Dyson Zone review: This is not what I expected

 

The Dyson Zone air-purifying and noise-canceling headphones look awesome and feel futuristic, but they lack enough practicality on the average day for most people.

However, If you ask me, the answer is greater action against air pollution and burning fossil fuels, so that we don’t get to the point of needing to breathe through something like the Dyson Zone in the first place.

Casque audio et purificateur d'air à la fois, le Dyson Zone détonne par son design. Mais au-delà des apparences, que vaut vraiment ce casque à réduction de bruit active ?

+ La qualité de la partie audio ; + Annulation de bruit au niveau des meilleurs ; + Application utile et agréable ; + Qualité de conception ; +

La qualité perçue de plastiques (notamment sur la visière) ; Le prix ; L’aspect ; Le besoin de changer des filtres (tous les 12 mois)

Rarement un produit nous aura posé autant de difficultés au moment d’être noté. Si on se contente de le juger sur sa partie technique, le Zone mérite d’être applaudi, surtout dans la mesure où il s’agit du premier casque audio de la marque. On ne peut...
