Works great 4 times

 

I used this to dehydrate apples. It took about 8 hrs on high to do all 5 shelves. But with the motor in the bottom, the drippings go directly into the motor. So this I think this is an inferior design. Not 100% sure that is what caused the failure, but...

Low cost, 5 shelves, multiple heat settings

Poor reliability, poor design, no temperature setting or timer

Works great!

 

I used it to make beef jerky and it worked like a charm. It worked way faster than my old one. It has an air circulation fan, so it heats evenly. You have to rotate the trays, but you have to do that with any dehydrator.

Quiet

 

It sounds like the microwave is on when this dehydrator runs. We have it now for 4 months using it about 2x p/mo for nuts. I hope it lasts forever. I love it.

Snacker's Delight

 

This is the best kitchen tool I never thought I needed. I've been dehydrating all types of fruit and proteins for jerky. Should be sold and packaged with a mandolin.

great dehydrator

 

I got this as a wedding gift to replace my 1970's dehydrator, so anything was an upgrade - but it really does work very well and fast. Has a variety of heat and fan settings which makes it more versatile depending on the time you want to spend dehydrating

My husband loves this

 

We received this for our wedding and my husband loves using it. He's dehydrated everything from fruit to entire meals. It does a good job, it seems to seal the flavors in and doesn't take forever to dehydrate.
