Great overall

 

This TV has a great picture. It is very slim, and has very small framing borders

The only real Con I had is that I was shipped the TV and the first one did not work. It would turn off after about 1 minute. However, I was quickly approved for a replacement and got a new one fairly quickly. The new one works great

refurb got wonky after several hours

 

have been buying Apple refurbs for over 10 years directly form Apple, and only had one iMac go in for warranty and one power brick, with stellar "couldn't possibly be any better" service, turnaround, and all expenses covered, without buying extra...

great price and reasonable shipping charge - $369 with promo code and $109 for 2 year extended warranty, since I think it only had a 30 day one. We'll see how well they take care of it ; easy setup ; looked good when was working for a short time....

turned on maybe 15th time in total, after maybe total of 3-6 hrs of use, And colors were ghastly green and yellow, with hardly any red, looking "nuclear" yet menu item, like reception signal, showed red. Seemed like inputs signals got stripped of red,...

HEADS UP

 

My inattention to the specifications cost me several hours and over $50 to get analog sound from a digital system, so if you plan to add additional sound components, make sure that it has SPDIF input or prepare to pay for a converter and lose digital...

Out of the box I plugged it in and it worked fine, easy set up, then I decided to add a sound bar and when I tried to hook it I discovered that the T C L tv only has a "SPDIF" coaxial digital audio output, no optical or analog (R C A) and the sound bar...

The set doesn't have analog or optical audio outputs, otherwise I don't have any negative comments

great tv for the price

 

Cheap, best specs, great for video games ; very great picture and has great volume

One small crack on the side of the tv, just aesthetic, probably happened during shipping, but I'll accept it since it is refurbished and the price was great
