It made a great gift for my 22nd anniversary my wife loved it the pictures great and she dosen't bother my 37" any more.

video needed some adjusting and regular cable looks horrible on it.

If you plan on using this tv to watch DVD's or as a really big computer monitor, it's great.

If you want to use this TV to it's full potential while watching normal cable channels, invest in good cables and make sure that you have a HD box from your service provider.

The TV is sharp and bright and works well with a minimum of techie knowlege.

Niko Tech Support and other on-line reviews confirm that there are no "remote codes" you can use to run the TV with a programmable remote.
