Works just fine and is up-front about the need to replace bulbs after 3000 hours

 

Surprised at the reviews, as this TV works exactly as expected for a Rear-Projection device!?! I'm about to get the lightbulb in it replaced (for the second time in 5 years), which is how I saw this, but it's exactly as I'd expected as . I can't...

It's Enormous, compatible with every device I've needed to plug into it

It does require a change in bulbs (being a Projector) which'll cost you about $170 every few years.

Huge & a beautiful looking piece of furniture

Keeps blowing bulbs, blue screens, constantly needing software updates, picture freezing, no sound, fading picture.....you name the problem, this freaking thing has it! Every fault I've read about this unit, my unit has had!

Big screen! Great for Wii.Picture good with good input eg, dvd, blueray, some foxtell chanels.

Died on me, was expecting it as I did buy it at a seconds shop. New board and lamp and has worked for min 4hrs a day for the past 4 yrs until now. Dreaded flashing orange light back. Maybe a bulb again. Expected though as the tv stays on for 5 days...

First 2 years, perfect.. then orange flashing led on power-up, I have extended wty 5 yrs, so they have taken the unit away in a truck 5 times now!!!!! for like 2 weeks at a time, get it back and it fails with the same between 1 day and 2 weeks..just...

Nice Picture, Big size, ample connectors, lovely to watch.

Can't get it repaired! takes a truck to pickup/deliver, replacement lamps are $280AU if one is needed btw..(only 3 months wty)
