This is probably a great product for newer garage door units, but I am not able to use this and will be sending back after I call to get authorization.

This opener can not be used for 'all' brands as the pagage states. Furthermore, the instructions stipulate this opener is only intended to be used with door openers manufactured from 1993 and up. If you have an older unit, shop around.
