The upconversion using HDMI on my 62" Toshiba DLP looks amazing.

It cuts top and bottom of fullscreen movies to make them fit the 16x9 size, looks good doing it though.

Worked for about 3 months sporadically.

Skips and freezes and is now out of warranty!!

Several movies freeze up or refuse to play altogether. Sadly, it took approx 2 1/2 months for me to figure this out. On the bright side, my credit card has protection for this kind of stuff

Using digital audio connector (either coax or optical) resulted in a very poor audio sync problem. Unwatchable
