Pretty much everything. Stylish, compact, good features, quality of playback very good.

It's probably because I'm not very bright with technology, but it took me a while to work out how to use it. The instruction manual is a bit on the translated-from-Japanese-via-Swedish type, but once I got the hang of it it's not difficult to use.

This DVD player / recorder lives up to its reputation as a Which magazine recommended buy. It is very good and easy to use.

pleased with the unit in general

none for me but i should hqave thought longer and bought a unit with a hdmi socket and hard drive

I found the product easy to install and use.

would have been nice to be able to use the 'pause button' during recording in order to 'cut out' adverts.

Very easy setup and usage. Freeview works fine - who needs to pay for Sky??

Loading and formatting discs can be slow. It has locked-up a couple of times but doing a factory reset has fixed the issue each time. A wish-list feature would be having two Freeview tuners - one for recording and one for watching.

Freeview ease of programming

Cannot pause record to miss adverts when recording in manual mode.

Ability to record a freeview programme whilst viewing another. Easy to locate and play recordings.

Can be a little slow to react when switched on and/or loading a DVD but nothing major.

buillt in Freeview is a bonus. Playback is fine

Why is recording such a pain??? Will not record on SONY DVD+RW without the disk having been formatted in my PC!
