Pitch Black (Blu-ray)

Very good film and it wasnt a massive release in the cinemas. Watched for the first time on DVD and loved it ever since recently purchased it on blu-ray and it is fantastic transfer. Hardcore Sci-fi with a few surprises

While I'm sure that this will look amazing just be aware that it appears that the UK release will only feature the theatrical cut. The US release features both the theatrical and the Director's cut on the same disc.

As i did with 'Chronicles' i will keep this short and sweet even though i should have technically reviewed them the other way round to keep it in sequence!

Enjoyable film despite the basic premise of a group of stereo-typical characters being marooned on a planet inhabited by alien creatures. Blu-ray transfer looked great without being stunning. Very good use is made of light throughout to set the mood,...

Most people have seen this film by now and the description describes almost every sci-fi B movie ever made but this one revels in its basic premise.
