Ekspertanmeldelse af : Good Gear Guide.au (goodgearguide.com.au)
A very well designed Blu-ray player, the BDP-LX70's biggest drawback is its price. If you're willing to pay the extra for its media streaming capabilities, then it's well-worth the investment.
Excellent Blu-ray playback, 1080p/24p video output, High quality surround sound performance, Easy-to-use media streaming
Slight lag when navigating the menu, Expensive compared to other units
Ekspertanmeldelse af : Ben Russell (goodgearguide.com.au)
Pioneer's BDP-LX70A is a high-end Blu-ray player, geared towards enthusiasts. As with other similarly high-end players, it attempts to distinguish its...
Great quality Blu-ray and DVD playback, media streaming
Very expensive
Ignoring price, this is probably the best Blu-ray player we've seen to date. If you're willing to pay a premium then it's an excellent product.

Pioneer's revised Blu-ray deck boasts audio potential
Extensive audio compatibility ; LAN connector
Design ; Disc-loading times ; Not a Profile 1.1 player
Even though it's not Profile 1.1, there's still a lot to like about this deck
Ekspertanmeldelse af : . . (techradar.com)
A stunning performer, but not quite a flawless HD solution
The best-performing Blu-ray player yet ; 1080p/24 output
Not cheap ; No HDMI 1.3 ; Not BD Profile 1.1 compatible
While the LX70 is a spectacularly good performer, it's impossible not to feel that you're better waiting for Pioneer's second generation deck

Prices for Blu-ray and HD-DVD players have been tumbling of late – we've recently tested new kit from Sharp, Sony and Toshiba costing less than £400, and the only way is down from there. Except Pioneer's BDP-LX70A has gone the other way – it costs a...

While other hi-def players are tumbling prices tumble, this Pioneer Blu-ray spinner weighs in at a hefty grand. Can it justify the premium?
Firmly pitched at the money-no-object home cinema enthusiast – and it delivers the goods in style. Stupendous ability in every regard
Ekspertanmeldelse af : Ty Pendlebury (cnet.com.au)
The Pioneer BDP-LX70 player is a very good Blu-ray player and media streaming device, but it's not as successful with DVD playback.
Excellent Blu-ray playback ; Media streaming ; Styling
DVD replay can be bettered for the price ; Only HDMI 1.2 ; Expensive
One thing we didn't appreciate was that it didn't explain how to input photos -- for that, you'll need to make sure the pictures are first in your "My Pictures" folder and then add them via the "Add to Library" option in WMP 11.
Ekspertanmeldelse af (channel5.com)
This Blu-ray player measures 420x103x353mm and weighs 6.5kg. It delivers HD images in 1080p and at 24fps, and supports bitstream output for Dolby Digital TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Terminal-wise, it has 1x HDMI output, 1x digital audio out, 1x...

The most accomplished blu-ray player out there, at a price ..
Not so far ahead into the future, the Pioneer BDP-LX70A's capabilities will be taken for granted, and the lack of Blu-ray 1.1 profile will be unthinkable, but for now it is the most accomplished blu-ray player out there.
Ekspertanmeldelse af (whathomecinemamag.com)
With a price tag of £1,000, it's just as well that Pioneer's debut Blu-ray player, the BDP-LX70, has some pretty high-end tricks up its sleeve. With 1080/24p pictures foremost among them, this is quite simply the finest Blu-ray performance we've seen
Amazing 1080/24p pictures, Superb upscaling performance, Great sound
Only HDMI 1.2, not 1.3, Not BD Profile 1.1 compliant
If you've got the cash and the right plasma screen, we guarantee you'll be basking in hi-def picture heaven.
