Excellent samurai film. Unlike chinese films the fight scenes were not too OTT. The plot was good. The character Lord Naritsugu is played convincingly well as a sadistic despot. This is truly in the mould of the Seven Samurai. Few against many. Good...

Probably not but it is very good, PQ on the Blu Ray's fair, a bit disapointing for a new title. I did expect it to be a lot more violent as its a Takashi Miike film. If you like Seven Samurai, Azumi, Lone Wolf & Cub then you need this.

This is without a doubt one of the best films i have ever had the pleasure to watch. If you like any of the old school samurai films then this film just has to be bought. A CLASSIC.
