Die Pentax Optio W20 ist bis 1,5 m für 30 Minuten schnorcheltauglich nach Klasse IP58. Auch schützt das Gehäuse das empfindliche Innenleben des nur 23 mm flachen Modells vor Sand und Staub, allerdings löst der 2,5-Zoll-Monitor nur mit 115 000 Pixeln auf.
