Nice camera

 

I was a little spectacle from the reviews, but I got this camera for my girlfriend as a xmas gift, and so far it is great. It's basically a DSLR with only one lens. No lens cap included, so I ordered on for 10 bucks online.

Price, features (you can lookup videos on the internet)

Bought for the great zoom and megapixals to replace my lower zoom camera that quit working. This camera does so much more!! Great for personal use, can't wait to use it in every way. Great camera for the price, beautiful lcd screen, and it can record...

Quality for the money

 

The S3400 is a notch below a SLR camera. I have found that, as in all electronic equipment, it is imperative to 'read the friggin' manual'). Once you learn the 'in-and-out' you have a quality product. Most problems are incurred by not understanding...

Refurbished product was clean and looked fairly new. No nicks or scratches. Gave the camera a thorough work over on taking pictures and the pictures were exceptional. The 'SR Auto' that is on the Fuji line is exceptional and for the amatuer gives...

Bare bones refurbished product. No lens cap, no manual (just provided on the CD and have to print it out). I understood this when purchased because it was stated

(followup) So Far So Good...but

 

This replacement has promise and I can put up with a little clunkiness in the zoom...it's a very smooth transition but you can feel the "bumps". As long as that doesn't interfere with function I don't have a problem with it. Like my Fujifilm Finepix...

This one does not rattle...a definite pro ; Good solid frame...large...easy to handle and beautiful 3-inch LCD screen. Takes excellent, sharp photos in macro mode ; Has an EVF (electronic view finder) which is very helpful when using the LCD is not...

Like the original one, this replacement did not come with a lens cap!! All Fuji cameras come with lens caps so I don't know what's going on here ; Zoom function is still a little clunky but nowhere near as bad as the original

Recieved today ; 1: Just thrown in it's factory box wrapped in thin cellophane...no protective foam anywhere ; 2: Something is loose inside...when you shake the camera gently you can hear it rattle ; 3:The lenses make clunking noises when zooming in or...

very clear image, excellent zoom, panorama setting is very useful

Batteries run out very quickly and there is no battery charger available. Does not have the continuous shooting mode.
